THE DRUID'S BOOK

Linden Hart
Age - 29
Birthday - March 24
Bio - Inheritor of a portion of a forgotten god's power, he is thrust into the realm of the supernatural against his will when he rescues an injured bat that turns out to be a vampire. After being nearly sucked dry by the vampire he rescued, he's aided by an angel who entrusts him with a strange book called The Druid's Book. The book's words are hidden by magic that only Linden can see, and as he reads through the book, he begins to learn that perhaps there's something extraordinary about him that he never knew before.

Jacob "Rhew" Tanner
Age - 28
Birthday - November 16
Bio - A young vampire who turns into a bat whenever he feels stressed. He became a vampire when a tragedy left him utterly alone, but he didn't choose the life of a vampire as it was thrust onto him without his consent. As a newly turned vampire, and having a stress reaction that turns him into a bat, he began to live in a park and raid trashcans for his meals. After losing a fight against a cat in a park while in his bat form, Rhew was found injured by Linden. A series of mishaps later and he has become Linden's boyfriend. Despite seeming a bit dimwitted, Rhew has an MBA and works as the marketing manager for the Crimson Palace, a resort that caters to supernatural creatures.

Manu Yajneshwara
Age - Unknown
Bio - Supposedly the first man to exist on Earth, Manu is an ancient being with the power to slay gods. Manu isn't his real name and he has long forgotten what his original name was. Cursed with immortality at the dawn of humanity, he has lived for so long that his memories are a jumble. Despite the tossed salad of his memories, he does remember why he was cursed: He killed a god. The god he killed is one that no one remembers, and the god is so ancient that there are no physical records of them ever existing. The act was done in a time long before the advent of written language. The gods of that age were extremely powerful and cursed him with immortality and sealed his god-slaying powers in order to force Manu to reflect on the deed he had done and to repent for his misdeeds.
Manu will never repent.
He knows what he did was the right thing to do.

Daelor
Bio - Manu's incubus boyfriend. Daelor works as an archivist for demonic relics in hell, which is how he met Manu. Though Manu is older than Daelor, Daelor is mistaken for the older of the two because he's far more mature and less erratic than Manu. Even though Daelor is an incubus, he has no interest in seducing anyone and dresses conservatively in all situations. He's a mundane demon who likes murdering people in his spare time.

Aira
Bio - A fallen angel who sold their wings in order to acquire The Druid's Book. This proved to be folly, as Aira couldn't read the book, thus they wandered the Earth in search of someone who could read the book. Their personality is quite flaky and airheaded at times, yet they're always aware of their surroundings despite the vacant expression they often wear. Since giving Linden the book, Aira has been quite happy to live a mundane life as a fallen angel in the mortal realm. Aira is close with another angel named Mihr who is very protective of Aira.

Mihr
Bio - Though he seems like a put together businessman, there is something sinister beneath the veneer of Mihr's visage. An angel who lives with Aira and seems to be Aira's caretaker, he is blunt and stern compared to his flighty companion. He has a deep hatred of demons, yet keeps many demonic friends.

Wynn Manfred Cross
Bio - Owner of The Crimson Palace, Wynn is a powerful mage with several business degrees and a minor in business law. He created The Crimson Palace as an oasis for supernatural creatures living on Earth so they can relax. He's most widely known among the supernatural as having married a powerful demon named Lilith, but that's small change compared to his magical and business accomplishments. He's also Rhew's boss.

Lauma of the Oak Grove
Bio - Hundreds of years ago, Lauma lived in an oak grove with her brother in Northern Europe until the Crusades found their lands. Her brother picked up sword and rode his horse into battle, never to return. Seeing no reason to stay on invaded lands, Lauma sought sanctuary in foreign lands across the sea, only for a new fate to find her. She was tried as a witch and burned alive. Her journal, filled with sacred spells and her daily life, was hidden away in a hollow tree. It was later found and placed on the magical black market for a young angel to buy with their own severed wings, but no one knew the true secret of the book. The reason why no one could read the book was because Lauma bound her soul to it, wanting only someone she could fully trust to ever read its pages. Now she has found the person she spent centuries seeking out, but will that finally give her peace when that boy's life has been upended?
